1982 to 2002
1982 - October - Elmshorn Madrigalchor to Shoreham-by-Sea. Concerts at both St. Mary de Haura and Keymer Parish Church.
1983 -
1984 - Easter - Concerts at St. Mary de Haura and Hurstpierpoint Parish Church.
- October - S.O.C. 2nd visit to Elmshorn. Lena Urquhart conducts S.O.C.
1985 - October - 2nd visit of Elmshorn to Shoreham-by-Sea.
1986 - October - S.O.C. 3rd visit to Elmshorn.
1987 - S.O.C. 4th visit to Elmshorn.
- October - Roland Chad appointed Chairman
1988 - July (3rd) - S.O.C. singing after Evensong (St. Mary de Haura).
- October - 3rd visit of Elmshorn Madrigalchor to Shoreham-by-Sea.
- December - Chairman of Adur District Council (Austin Edwards) guest of honour at concert.
1989 - April - Sudden death of organist David Bennett.
- Lawrence Bradley appointed rehearsal pianist.
1990 - March (10th) Choir Dinner at Sackville Hotel, Hove
- June - Adur Arts Festival Concert at St. Mary de Haura.
- July - S.O.C. Recital held at St. Giles', Shoreham-by-Sea
1991 - April - Visit by Ensemble Vocal (Sarreguemines), France, to sing with S.O.C.
1992 -
1993 -
1994 - 2nd visit by Ensemble Vocal du Conservatoire (Sarreguemines)
- Concert at St. Mary de Haura (5th July)
1995 -
1996 - October - Visit of Elmshorn Madrigalchor to Shoreham-by-Sea.
-Margaret (Savage) Baker conducts concert for S.O.C.
1997 - March - Margaret (Savage) Baker appointed Chairman of S.O.C.
- June - Concert at Sarreguemines, France. (Ensemble Vocal)
- December - Margaret (Savage) Baker conducts Christmas Concert as
Michael Ades is unwell.
1998 - May - Visit to Elmshorn
1999 - April - Michael Ades conducts final concert (Mozart Requiem).
- May - Concerts at Forbach & Sarreguimines, France. (Emsemble Vocal). Conducted by Lena Urquhart.
- December - Tony Allen's fist concert as Conductor of S.O.C.
2000 - October - Visit of Elmshorn Madrigalchor to Shoreham-by-Sea.
2001 -
2002 - March - S.O.C. joint concert with Brighton Parish Church Choir Trebles.
- Members attend a workshop with John Rutter.
- May - S.O.C. visit Elmshorn, Germany to sing with Madrigalchor.
- September - Maggie Kent appointed Chairman.
- Visit to Royal Albert Hall to sing the Verdi Requiem.
